The Show from Years Past
Originally a Chrysanthemum show held in November, it became a summer affair following a growing interest in vegetable gardening, as well as in flowers, craft and cookery. The first show was held in the early 1970s by Mr. Albert Robers, with Mrs Mair Hughes joining him a few years later. The show was then passed on to Derek and Gabrielle Williams and finally to Chris and Mike Linford before passing the baton over to the current committee. We are grateful for this inspiring legacy.
